We are looking for someone to become a new member of our Accountancy and Business team to help support our current team of Accountants in their responsibilities and duties. Reviewing and posting purchase invoices and payments
Reviewing and allocating cash receipts
Performing bank and cash reconciliations
Setting up online banking payments
General daily accounting tasks to support the team.
Good verbal and written communications skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
Computer literacy including the ability to use various specialist applications
Reasonable word processing skills.
A genuine interest in business and finance
Good administrative skills.
Maths & English to GCSE Grade C/5 or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
Organised and methodical approach to working
Familiarity with accounting software (ideally Xero)
Good working knowledge of MS Office, and intermediate MS Excel.
